The Clemson Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks have received a prediction from ESPN.

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers are set to face off against the rival South Carolina Gamecocks in the season finale on Saturday afternoon.

After a rough all-around season, Clemson became bowl eligible last week with a win over Furman. Ending the disappointing year with a win over South Carolina and a bowl win would feel very good.

The Gamecocks have also had an incredibly disappointing season. Heading into this week's game, South Carolina is just 4-7.  Shane Beamer and company have no chance to become bowl eligible after being a team that many thought would be a College Football Playoff contender.

As for the Tigers, this week gives them a chance to improve to 7-5 on the year with a win.

Keeping that in mind, ESPN has weighed in with their prediction for who will win this week. It's not going to make Clemson fans very happy.

According to their matchup predictor, the Gamecocks have a 63.6 percent chance to defeat the Tigers.

Of course, that is just a prediction. Clemson has a better record and were a national title favorite to begin the season. This is the kind of game that could help Swinney's team close out a rough chapter on a very high note.

Fans should expect to see a highly motivated version of the Tigers this week. Cade Klubnik will be looking to end his final regular season game on a high note after a year that failed to live up to the hype. The rest of the team also has a lot of pride to play for.

Before thinking about the future and how to turn the program back into a legitimate contender, Swinney and company have two more games left. Knocking off South Carolina is always a great feeling. Hopefully, the Tigers are able to make that happen.

This week's game is scheduled to kick off at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon. Fans will be able to tune in to watch the game on the SEC Network. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top between the two bitter rivals.
