Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers have landed a four-star wide receiver.
The Clemson Tigers have landed another talented recruit, as four-star wide receiver Jamarin Simmons has committed to the program.
Simmons decided to commit to the Tigers over Florida, Florida State, Auburn, and Tennessee.
Simmons has had two very productive seasons in high school. In the 2024 season, he finished with 49 receptions for 996 yards and eight touchdowns. In 2025, he hauled in 59 receptions for 932 yards and 14 touchdowns.
This is a big addition for Clemson's offense for the future. They recently lost wide receiver Antonio Williams, as he was selected in the third round of the NFL Draft by the Washington Commanders.
Williams was a pivotal weapon, as he had 75 receptions for 904 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2024 and 55 receptions for 604 yards and four touchdowns in 2025.
Their other talented receiver, TJ Moore, is projected to be taken in the first round of the 2027 NFL Draft, which will leave a bigger role at the position.
The Tigers will need to continue adding talent to turn things around after a disappointing 2025 season. Clemson missed out on the College Football Playoffs, finishing with a 7-6 record and losing to Penn State in the Pinstripe Bowl.

The Tigers will be relying on players to step up into bigger roles and the recruits of the future to help get back to being one of the top teams in the country. Swinney has a sense of urgency, knowing he may be on the hot seat in the next couple of years.
He fired Garrett Riley after the 2025 season to bring in Chad Morris for his second stint as their offensive coordinator. Swinney also hired longtime NFL coach Rich Bisaccia as the new special teams coordinator.
Swinney and the Tigers will hope the coaching changes can make a difference in the program becoming a powerhouse once again.
While Clemson has a potential make-or-break season ahead, they aren't letting recruiting slip through the cracks, as they've added talented players in Simmons, running back Gary Walker, and safety Jarrell Chandler in recent days.
