Clemson Tigers star Avieon Terrell has established himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the 2026 NFL Draft.
In The Athletic's latest mock draft, they have Terrell landing with the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks with the 32nd overall pick.
This would be an interesting landing spot for Terrell as the Seahawks could have a need at cornerback. Their secondary was stacked during their Super Bowl run, but Tariq Woolen and Josh Jobe are both free agents.
If Seattle allows both to walk in free agency, drafting a player like Terrell would make a ton of sense.
He had three productive seasons at Clemson. In his freshman season, Terrell had 19 total tackles, an interception, and four pass deflections.
He took a jump in his sophomore campaign, finishing with 58 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, a sack, two interceptions, 12 pass deflections, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.

The Seahawks thrived with having an elite secondary, as their defense is what led them to win the Super Bowl. Replacing Woolen and Jobe will be key if they let both walk in free agency, and Terrell would be a great fit.
The Tigers now have a tall task of replacing starters like Terrell, Peter Woods, TJ Parker, Cade Klubnik, and more, who are off to the NFL Draft.
Dabo Swinney and Clemson were unable to take advantage of having this talent on the roster, as they went 7-6, missing out on the ACC Title Game and the College Football Playoff.
It was a disappointing season, as Clemson was expected to be a contender to win the National Championship heading into the year.
Swinney will need to replace the starters who are off to the NFL Draft, while improving the roster elsewhere to elevate the program back to the College Football Playoff.
Terrell didn't walk away from Clemson on a high note, but he will be one of the top cornerbacks off the board in the upcoming draft.
