Clemson Lands 3-Star Cornerback Over Arizona State

The Clemson Tigers continue to add to their impressive 2027 recruiting class as three-star cornerback Bryant Robinson has committed to the program.

Robinson chose Clemson over Arizona State, Texas Tech, and Arizona. 

In the 2024 season, Robinson was named the Texas District 5-5A D-I Defensive Newcomer of the Year, finishing with 21 tackles and 10 pass deflections.

In the 2025 season, Robinson was productive again, recording 46 tackles and two interceptions.

Dabo Swinney and the Tigers have been aggressive in landing talent for 2027 and are putting together one of the nation's strongest classes.

Clemson has landed several commits in recent days despite a subpar 2025 season. 

Swinney's Tigers finished with a 7-6 record, missing out on the College Football Playoff and the ACC Title Game. They had entered the year among the favorites to win the National Championship, but struggled despite all the talent on the roster.

Clemson had nine players selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, showcasing the talent they possessed, even if it didn't translate to results on the field.

With all of the talent leaving and the incoming commitments from the 2027 class yet to arrive, 2026 will be a challenging year for the Tigers.

The biggest change will be at the quarterback position, as Cade Klubnik is off to the New York Jets, and Christopher Vizzina will take over for Clemson.

Klubnik had a very productive career with the Tigers, completing 64 percent of his passes for 10,123 yards, 73 touchdowns, and 24 interceptions. He added 878 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground over his four seasons.

Vizzina hasn't had a ton of experience sitting behind Klubnik, as he's completed 64 of 105 passes (61 percent) for 596 yards, four touchdowns, and an interception. He has added 109 yards and a touchdown on 38 carries.

While the 2026 season is still a question mark for Clemson, the future under Swinney looks bright with an impressive 2027 recruiting class, including the commitment from Robinson.
