The Clemson Tigers have landed another pass rusher for their 2027 class.

The Clemson Tigers continue to be aggressive in adding more talent to their 2027 class as edge rusher JiQuan Rogers has committed to the program.

Rogers chose Clemson over Florida, Arkansas, and Florida State. The three-star edge rusher was productive in his junior season in 2025, finishing with 36 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, seven sacks, a fumble recovery, and a touchdown.

"They took a shot on me," Rogers told Rivals. "That meant a lot to me and my recruitment. Since they offered me, it has been about building relationships. The relationships they built, how honest they've been the whole time and the fact they took a chance on me played a big role in my commitment."

The Tigers have a good track record of developing pass rushers of late. TJ Parker is the latest example, as the Buffalo Bills selected him with the 35th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Parker produced three quality seasons at Clemson, starting in his freshman year, as he finished with 32 total tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery.

He had a breakout season in 2024, finishing with 57 total tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, six forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.

In 2025, Parker's numbers dipped, but he was still solid, with 37 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, and three fumble recoveries.

Rogers will look to follow suit and become an elite pass rusher for the Tigers.

He is joining a Clemson team that struggled in 2025. Dabo Swinney has turned the Tigers into one of the best programs in college football during his tenure as head coach, but the Tigers finished 7-6 last season.

"What stands out about Coach Swinney is his background and the fact he wins," Rogers said. "He has created a great culture there too. The whole coaching staff are former players. If they keep coming back, that means something special is going on there."

Despite the disappointing 2025 campaign, Rogers seems confident in Swinney and the Tigers' program. Clemson has done a phenomenal job in adding talent for 2027 and has promise ahead after a down year.
