Clemson Tigers quarterback Cade Klubnik has been selected with the 110th overall pick in the draft.

Clemson Tigers quarterback Cade Klubnik has been selected by the New York Jets with the 110th overall pick in the 4th round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Klubnik had a good career with the Tigers and, heading into the 2025 season, was one of the top quarterbacks in the class and expected to be a first-round pick.

However, he struggled in the 2025 season, as did Clemson as a whole, as they went just 7-6 and missed out on the College Football Playoff.

Klubnik, as well as his teammates Peter Woods, Avieon Terrell, T.J. Parker, and Antonio Williams, were expected to go higher heading into 2025 but fell down the draft board.

Klubnik put together solid numbers in his three years as a starter. In his sophomore season in 2023, he completed 63.9 percent of his passes for 2,844 yards, 19 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Klubnik added 182 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.

He had his best season in 2024, as he completed 63.4 percent of his passes for 3,639 yards, 36 touchdowns, and six interceptions. He also rushed for 119 yards and seven touchdowns.

After that campaign, he was projected to be a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Klubnik regressed in 2025, completing 65.6 percent of his passes for 2,943 yards, 16 touchdowns, and six interceptions. He rushed for 94 yards and four touchdowns on 83 carries.

Klubnik had the most completions in Clemson history with 916 and the fourth most passing touchdowns with 73.

He will now head to the Jets, where he will likely be a backup but will look to develop into a more consistent player like he was in 2024. New York has veteran Geno Smith as their starter, but Klubnik could earn an opportunity throughout the season if Smith struggles.

With Klubnik off to the NFL, Swinney will have to find his replacement at quarterback, with Christopher Vizzina as the favorite after spring practice.
