This Clemson Tigers standout landed with the perfect team in the NFL Draft.

The Clemson Tigers were certainly a popular team in the 2026 NFL Draft, as nine Clemson players were selected. That tied a school record.

What's more, five of those nine players came off the board the first two days, showing just how much talent the Tigers had in 2025 ... and just how disappointing they were.

Nevertheless, NFL teams clearly loved Clemson's talent pool, and one Tigers player who was selected on Day 3 of the draft landed in the absolute perfect situation for a fifth-round pick: running back Adam Randall.

Randall was taken by the Baltimore Ravens with the 174th overall pick and will join a squad that has long been known for running the football at will.

Of course, Derrick Henry is the starter for the Ravens, but with Baltimore not having a dynamic No. 2 halfback, Randall could ultimately step in and develop into a critical weapon for the Ravens in Year 1.

Randall was initially a wide receiver the first three years of his collegiate career before switching over to running back in 2025.

It proved to be the best decision he had ever made.

Randall racked up 814 yards and 10 touchdowns while averaging 4.8 yards per carry this past season. Additionally, he hauled in 36 receptions for 254 yards and a score.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound bruiser brings enticing versatility to the table, and it's worth noting that his stock rose quite a bit in the weeks leading up to the draft.

While John Harbaugh is no longer in charge in Baltimore, new head coach Jesse Minter will surely utilize the ground game with Lamar Jackson under center and Henry in the backfield. That could mean legitimate touches for Randall.

Randall doesn't have the best top-end speed, but his overall athleticism is impressive, and he is a very powerful weapon. Essentially, his skillset is rare.

It would not be the least bit surprising if the Ravens throw Randall into the mix right off the bat in 2026, depending on how well he performs in training camp and preseason, of course.

But it's hard to imagine a better landing spot for Randall.
