This Clemson Tigers player has received some rather surprising praise before the NFL Draft.
The Clemson Tigers have several players who could be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft this month, and while running back Adam Randall is not one of them, he is definitely gaining some steam.
Randall put together a very impressive Pro Day last month and has slowly been climbing draft boards, and while he is still probably going to be a Day 3 pick, he might go earlier than anyone initially anticipated.
ESPN's Matt Bowen even shouted out Randall in a recent piece in which he named the top 100 prospects at different skills and traits, tabbing Randall as the draft's most powerful rusher.
"At 6-3, 232 pounds, Randall switched from receiver to running back before the 2025 season. He can generate power in his pads when he gets on a north-south track and find the end zone on goal-line carries," Bowen wrote. "There's a lot of upside here given his limited experience at running back."
Randall registered 814 yards and 10 touchdowns while averaging 4.8 yards per carry this past season. In addition, he hauled in 36 receptions for 254 yards and three scores.

It also helps Randall that this year's running back class is not as deep as last year's, so he should be able to find a home in a couple of weeks.
Numerous NFL teams have already met with Randall, so clearly, there is interest in the Myrtle Beach, S.C. native.
Because of Randall's size and ability to catch passes out of the backfield, there is definitely a chance that he is able to carve out a niche somewhere in the pros.
That doesn't necessarily mean that Randall is going to become a featured back, but it's easy to see him developing into a unique weapon if given the chance.
Fellow Tigers stars Peter Woods, Avieon Terrell, T.J. Parker, Blake Miller and Antonio Williams are all pretty much guaranteed to get drafted ahead of Randall, but it's looking more and more likely that Randall will hear his name called at some point.
