This Clemson Tigers star has landed a private workout before the NFL Draft.
The Clemson Tigers have a handful of players expected to fly off the board over the first couple of rounds of the NFL Draft later this month, but running back Adam Randall is not one of them.
Randall will almost surely hear his name called at some point in the draft, but he is generally viewed as a Day 3 pick.
However, it's pretty clear that there are NFL teams interested in the playmaker.
Randall has already met with the New England Patriots, and it had been revealed previously that he has a visit scheduled with the Houston Texans.
Well, now we can add a third club to the mix: the Washington Commanders.
“I’ve had a couple of visits,” Randall told The Clemson Insider. “I’ve been to New England, going to Houston this upcoming week, and the Commanders are coming down to have a workout with me, so I’ve been getting a lot of general buzz, but those are the three teams that I feel like I’ve had some good connections with.”
Randall spent the first three years of his collegiate career as a wide receiver before transitioning to running back in 2025, and the decision proved dividends.

Randall's versatility could be a big selling point for professional squads, and he definitely displayed that at the Scouting Combine and his Pro Day.
“I just wanted to show that I’m a true running back, especially in Indy, doing all the running back drills and being out there with some of the top running backs in the country, showing that I can compete on their level,” Randall said. “And coming back to Pro Day, showing that I can still run routes as a receiver. I think I did a really good job of that.”
Randall ran a 4.50-second 40-yard dash at the Combine, but then proceeded to post a 4.28 in the shuttle run at his Pro Day, which would have been No. 1 among halfbacks at the former event.
We'll see where the 21-year-old ends up going in a few weeks.
