The Clemson Tigers have a handful of players who could fly off the board in the first round of the NFL Draft, which sounds strange given how much of a disappointment Clemson was a whole in 2025.
Avieon Terrell, Peter Woods and T.J. Parker are all viewed as probable first-round selections, and Blake Miller has gained some steam, as well.
Then, there is wide receiver Antonio Williams, who entered 2025 widely perceived as a first-round talent, but saw his stock drop considerably thanks to an underwhelming campaign in which he caught 55 passes for 604 yards and four touchdowns.
Most have had Williams tabbed as a third-round pick or, at best, a late second-rounder, and there have even been some who feel he could fall to Day 3.
However, in a recent seven-round mock draft, Jacob Infante made a rather shocking prediction for Williams, linking him to the Tennessee Titans at No. 35.

"He’s a crafty route runner with good explosion out of his breaks, consistently creating separation."
Perhaps there will be some teams who remember what Williams did in 2024, when he hauled in 75 receptions for 904 yards and 11 scores. But at this point, it would be surprising if he almost sneaks into the first round as Infante projects.
Williams arrived at Clemson in 2022 and was immediately productive, snaring 56 balls for 604 yards and four touchdowns ... pretty much identical numbers to what he just posted during his senior campaign.
Injuries then limited the 5-foot-11 burner the following season before his breakout showing in 2024.
Williams profiles as a slot receiver on the NFL level. He ran a 4.41 in the 40-yard dash at the Scouting Combine, so there might be squads interested in Williams to fill a very specific niche.
It's hard to imagine Williams ever developing into a No. 1 receiver in the pros, but he certainly has the talent and the skillset to at least become a very productive weapon.
