This Clemson Tigers star is seeing his NFL Draft stock skyrocket.

The Clemson Tigers have several players who could fly off the board in the first round of the NFL Draft this April, but at this point, it seems like the only prospect who is guaranteed to be selected on Day 1 is cornerback Avieon Terrell.

It has been a steady rise for Terrell, who had an impressive junior campaign at Clemson with 48 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, five forced fumbles and nine passes defended.

The five forced fumbles obviously really stands out, especially when you consider that Terrell also forced three fumbles the season prior.

That would be incredible for a defensive end; let alone a cornerback, so it gives you an idea of just how unique of a player Terrell really is.

Regardless, Terrell has mostly been projected to land in the back end of the first round, but Cynthia Frelund of NFL.com has actually predicted Terrell to rocket his way up to the Los Angeles Rams at No. 13 overall.

"Terrell has the versatility to play inside and out and can help in run support, too. He has a smaller frame than some of the other corners in this cluster (5-11, 180), but his ability to find the shortest path to the ball while it’s in the air and be a pest in pass coverage narrowly gives him the edge," Frelund wrote.

This is the highest I've seen Terrell projected to go yet, but it indicates that the defensive back's stock is rising with the draft about two-and-a-half months away.

This upcoming class is fairly deep at the cornerback position, although the other corners projected by most to come off the board in the first round — Tennessee's Jermod McCoy and LSU's Mansoor Delane — both have questions.

McCoy missed all of 2025 with a torn ACL, and while Delane is a terrific prospect, most feel that he isn't quite top-five material.

That being said, Frelund has McCoy and Delane going No. 5 and 8, respectively, in her mock draft, so obviously, she thinks there will be a run on cornerbacks early on.

The Rams definitely need help at the position, so Terrell would seem like a natural fit in Los Angeles.

We'll see how Terrell performs at the Scouting Combine later this month.
