This Clemson Tigers star has received a surprising NFL Draft prediction.

The general consensus is that the Clemson Tigers have three first-round talents in this year's NFL Draft: Peter Woods, Avieon Terrell and T.J. Parker.

However, another Clemson player's name has been floating toward Day 1 in some mock drafts: offensive tackle Blake Miller.

Miller has flown under the radar for quite some time now, this even though he was one of the most decorated offensive linemen in the ACC during his days with the Tigers.

The 6-foot-7, 317-pound standout made First-Team All-ACC in each of his last two years at Clemson, and he was also named Third-Team All-ACC in 2023.

That much is true. However, we have not really heard Miller mentioned as a potential first-round pick until very recently, and his impressive showing at the Scouting Combine further boosted his stock.

Case in point, Ryan Roberts of A to Z Sports projected Miller to go 23rd overall to the Philadelphia Eagles in his latest mock draft.

"All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson is nearing the end of a legendary NFL career. Miller has the requisite size, movement skills, and length to become the heir apparent whenever Johnson does hang it up," Roberts wrote.

There had been speculation that Johnson could retire after 2025, but he has decided to return for another season. The end is near for the star lineman, though, so the Eagles do need to start thinking about the future.

But would a contending club like Philadelphia actually select a player that it knows is going to ride the bench on Day 1 of the NFL Draft?

It doesn't seem incredibly likely, but there is no doubt that Miller's standing has increased and that he could fall somewhere else in the first round.

Miller's athleticism score actually ranked No. 1 among all offensive tackles at the combine, and he was No. 2 in total score, via NFL.com.

Oh, and by the way, while Roberts had Woods and Terrell flying off the board before Miller, he did not have Parker going in the first round of the draft.

It will be very interesting to see how this unfolds for Clemson's top players next month, but one thing is for sure: for a team that was so disappointing in 2025, the Tigers surely boast a lot of terrific players in this year's draft class.
