Clemson Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney has made another addition to his staff as he is hiring Rich Bisaccia as the new special teams coordinator.
Bisaccia recently resigned from the same role with the Green Bay Packers and will now join Clemson's staff, which is looking to have a bounce-back season.
Bisaccia has a ton of experience at the NFL level, as he's been a coach for over 40 years.
He notably served as the interim head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021 before becoming the Packers' special teams coordinator over the last three seasons.
With Bisaccia on the way in, that is another change at coordinator for the Tigers as Swinney fired offensive coordinator Garrett Riley at the conclusion of the 2025 season and brought in Chad Morris to replace him.
Clemson needed to make changes after an underwhelming year. The Tigers were expected to make it to the College Football Playoff and be a contender to win the National Championship.
They fell way short of expectations, finishing with a 7-6 record and not even making it to the ACC Title Game.
Swinney has established Clemson as one of the top programs in college football over the past decade, but they need to bounce back in 2026.
Mark Hoffman/Milwaukee Journal Sentinel / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn ImagesBringing in Morris and Bisaccia shows that Swinney is being aggressive to improve the program. However, it will be difficult, as the Tigers are losing some key starters to the NFL Draft, including Avieon Terrell, Peter Woods, T.J. Parker, Cade Klubnik, and more.
Klubnik was their starting quarterback in 2025 and completed 65.6 percent of his passes for 2,943 yards, 16 touchdowns, and six interceptions. He also rushed for 94 yards and four touchdowns.
The Tigers will likely start Christopher Vizzina to replace Klubnik. Vizzina completed 45 of 71 passes (63.4 percent) for 406 yards, four touchdowns, and an interception in 2025. They will need him to have an efficient season as a starter.
Swinney is going out swinging with his coaching staff, and he hopes that Morris and Bisaccia can help Clemson turn their program around in the 2026 season.
