Clemson Tigers quarterback Cade Klubnik probably won't like this NFL Draft prediction.

Clemson Tigers quarterback Cade Klubnik went into the 2025 college football season viewed as a potential top-five pick, with some even tabbing him as a possible No. 1 overall selection in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Of course, things did not exactly go according to plan for Klubnik.

After a brilliant 2024 campaign, Klubnik struggled this past year, throwing for 2,943 yards, 16 touchdowns and six interceptions while completing 65.6 percent of his passes. He finished with under 100 rushing yards, as well.

As you would expect, Klubnik's draft stock plummeted, and now, he is generally viewed as a Day 3 pick this April.

That being said, there are still some quarterback-needy teams who may express heavy interest in Klubnik as a potential option under center, so even if he slips to the middle rounds, he could land in an ideal scenario.

However, Travis May of A to Z Sports has Klubnik landing with a rather unfortunate squad: the Denver Broncos.

In his recent seven-round mock draft, May projected Klubnik to fall to the Broncos at pick No. 130 in the fourth round, which would be a rough landing spot for the Clemson product considering Bo Nix is already under center in Denver.

Nix has been up and down over his first couple of seasons, but he doesn't appear to be going anywhere, so Klubnik would more than likely have to ride the bench in the Mile High City.

Teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Jets and even the Indianapolis Colts comprise much more appealing destinations for Klubnik, as he would actually have a chance to eventually win the starting job on those clubs for one reason or another.

Outside of Fernando Mendoza, there don't appear to be any genuine top quarterback prospects in this year's draft class, which certainly plays into Klubnik's favor.

Let's say the Cleveland Browns, for example, don't want to spend a late first-round pick on Ty Simpson and instead decide to take a signal-caller a bit later. Klubnik could present a realistic option for them in that situation.

There are definitely some intriguing outcomes for Klubnik this spring, but joining the Broncos is not one of them.
