The Clemson Tigers have received a significant update from a top wide receiver recruit.

While the Clemson Tigers have certainly struggled in recruiting in recent years, one area in which they have been fairly adept is the wide receiver position.

Clemson just watched as Antonio Williams made the jump to the NFL, and both T.J. Moore and Bryant Wesco are returning for 2026.

Not only that, but the Tigers have three four-star wide receivers — Naeem Burroughs, Connor Salmin and Gordon Sellars III — coming in for next season.

So while head coach Dabo Swinney has been heavily criticized for his archaic recruiting methods over the last several cycles, he has certainly done a fine job in consistently bagging wide receiver talent.

And you know what? Swinney may be on his way to securing another talented wide out for the class of 2027.

Four-star wide receiver Deshawn Hall has told The Clemson Insider that he will be in attendance for spring practice on Monday. Additionally, Hall will make an official visit to Clemson for the weekend of May 29-31.

The 6-foot-6 Hall is a tantalizing prospect who has already received 29 offers, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Penn State and Tennessee, among others.

Clemson has yet to make an offer to Hall just yet.

The Prattville, Al. native is the 27th-ranked wide receiver and the 217th-ranked player nationally in the class of 2027, per 247 Sports' composite rankings.

Hall caught 40 passes for 660 yards and five touchdowns at Prattville in 2025. He has also received basketball offers from Cincinnati, Mississippi State, UCF and others.

The Tigers' offense will definitely be interesting to watch in 2026 given the team's uncertainty at numerous positions, including quarterback.

Cade Klubnik is now headed to the NFL, which has left Clemson to decide between Christopher Vizzina and Chris Denson for the starting job next season.

As of now, it appears that Vizzina is the frontrunner to begin next fall under center.

The Tigers also have issues along their offensive line and at running back, so Swinney will have to get all of that sorted out.

But again, the one area in which Clemson seems pretty set is at wide receiver.
