This Clemson Tigers standout is garnering some surprising buzz ahead of the NFL Draft.

When Adam Randall began his collegiate career with the Clemson Tigers in 2022, he was a wide receiver. He ended as a running back.

Randall spent three years as a receiver, producing very little before finally making the switch to the backfield in 2025.

The move paid dividends for the playmaker, as he rushed for 814 yards and 10 touchdowns on 4.8 yards per carry while also hauling in 36 receptions for 254 yards and three scores.

Randall is now heading into the NFL Draft, and initially, his stock was not exactly sky-high. In fact, the Clemson product was mainly an afterthought at the Scouting Combine.

However, an impressive showing at Randall's Pro Day has NFL teams interested, and the halfback has already bagged top-30 visits with the New England Patriots and Houston Texans with the draft looming next month.

Randall ran a 4.28 shuttle at his Pro Day, which would have ranked No. 1 among running backs at the Combine. Funny enough, Randall posted a 4.53 shuttle in Indianapolis, which ranked last among the five participating halfbacks.

His speed and agility has caught the attention of some squads, and his 6-foot-2, 235-pound frame — somewhat similar to Baltimore Ravens superstar Derrick Henry — is also intriguing.

Right now, Randall is viewed as a Day 3 pick, at best, and it's hard to imagine that changing over the next several weeks. But his stock may have improved in recent days, and the fact that he is garnering attention from a couple of AFC contenders is certainly great news for Randall moving forward.

Randall is one of several notable Clemson offensive players who could be selected in the draft, with quarterback Cade Klubnik, offensive tackle Blake Miller and wide receiver Antonio Williams representing the others.

Both Miller and Williams are generally perceived as Day 2 selections while Klubnik's projections have ranged anywhere from Round 3 to Round 7.

It will definitely be interesting to see where all of these Tigers players land this spring and whether or not any of them will be able to make an impact in the early stages of their respective NFL careers.
