What does this Clemson Tigers star need to do to get some respect?
Clemson Tigers wide receiver T.J. Moore absolutely has the talent to establish himself as a potential first-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Moore had an impressive sophomore campaign last season, hauling in 52 receptions for 837 yards and four touchdowns while averaging 16.1 yards per catch. And let's remember that came with Clemson having a very down year in 2025.
The former five-star recruit also put forth a terrific showing during his freshman season, catching 45 passes for 651 yards and five scores.
So why the lack of hype surrounding Moore heading into his third year?
Moore is rarely mentioned among first-round talents going into the 2026 college football campaign, and now, he was just disrespected in Preseason All-ACC voting.
The results were revealed on Wednesday, and while four Tigers players — including fellow receiver Bryant Wesco — earned selections, Moore was conspicuously absent. Miami's Malachi Toney and Florida State's Duce Robinson filled the other two wide receiver slots.

But if I'm being honest, I feel that Moore should have been selected ahead of Wesco.
Both Clemson wide outs are immensely talented, but Wesco played just seven games last season due to a scary injury that resulted in a spinal contusion in October. Moore played all year and was the Tigers' most consistent source of big-play offense.
In fact, I believe that Moore will ultimately end up being Clemson's No. 1 receiver this fall.
Wesco is a terrific player, and like Moore, he could establish himself as an early pick in next year's NFL Draft. But do I think he is quite as talented as his teammate? No.
Moore consistently made spectacular catches last season, flashing spectacular hands and tremendous athleticism throughout the campaign.
I fully anticipate that the 6-foot-3 weapon will build on his first two years this coming season, and while quarterback Christopher Vizzina will likely spread the ball around to a receiving corps that also includes Tyler Brown, Tristan Smith and three four-star freshmen, I think a 1,000-yard output is very much in play for Moore.
