Clemson Tigers pass rusher TJ Parker is predicted to join a top AFC team in a recent mock draft.

Clemson Tigers star TJ Parker enters the 2026 NFL Draft as one of the top pass rushers in the class.

Parker put together quality seasons during his time at Clemson, making his case as a potential first-round pick.

In Bucky Brooks' recent mock draft, Parker lands with the Los Angeles Chargers with the 22nd overall pick.

Parker could fit well with the Chargers, as they need additional pass rushers outside of 35-year-old Khalil Mack, who returned on a one-year deal. They lost Odafe Oweh in free agency to the Washington Commanders, making this a bigger position of need.

Parker showed his ability to be an effective pass rusher during his three years with the Tigers. In his freshman campaign in 2023, he finished with 32 total tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, two pass deflections, and a forced fumble.

Parker followed that up with a breakout season in 2024, tallying 57 total tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, a pass deflection, six forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.

He wasn't as elite in 2025, but was still productive, finishing with 37 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, a pass deflection, and three forced fumbles.

Parker may not be the dominant player he was in 2024, but he is still a productive pass rusher who would fit well with the Chargers. They need to build for the future of their defensive line, and he could learn a ton playing alongside Mack.

Clemson will miss having Parker's presence off the edge, as they are looking to bounce back after a disappointing 2025 season.

The Tigers finished with a 7-6 record, missing out on the ACC Title Game and College Football Playoff, despite being a favorite to win the National Championship heading into the season.

They will need to replace talent like Parker and others heading to the NFL, while playing at a higher level on the field, to get back to the College Football Playoff.

While Dabo Swinney and Clemson search to find success again, Parker will look to establish himself as a quality pass rusher in the NFL.
