The Clemson Tigers have landed the son of a former Georgia star.
The Clemson Tigers have added another recruit to their 2027 class as tight end Nick Pollack has committed to the program.
Pollack is the son of University of Georgia legend David Pollack. He had a great college career at Georgia before being selected by the Cincinnati Bengals with the 17th overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft.
His son, Nick, a three-star prospect, will now look to make his mark at the college level with the Tigers.
He is one of four recruits that Dabo Swinney and Clemson have landed on Monday. This is a major recruiting class for Swinney after the Tigers finished with a 7-6 record in the 2025 season.
Clemson entered 2025 expected to be in the College Football Playoff and to win the ACC, but struggled despite the talent on their roster.
Peter Woods, T.J. Parker, Avieon Terrell, Antonio Williams, Cade Klubnik, and more Tigers were selected in the 2026 NFL Draft.
It will be difficult for players to step up into their roles while the team also needs to improve drastically.
The biggest concern is the quarterback position, as Klubnik was successful as their starter, and Christopher Vizzina, who is expected to take over, has little experience.
Klubnik completed 64 percent of his passes for 10,123 yards, 73 touchdowns, and 24 interceptions across his four years at Clemson. On the ground, he added 878 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Vizzina has a lot to work on to live up to Klubnik, as he's completed 64 of 105 passes for 596 yards, four touchdowns, and an interception across 2024 and 2025. He has also rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown.
Clemson will also be leaning on offensive coordinator Chad Morris to implement a good system. Swinney hired Morris for the position this offseason after firing Garrett Riley. Morris previously served in this role with the Tigers from 2011 to 2014.
The Tigers have had a great 2027 recruiting class and will look to add more talent over the next few months.
