Clemson Tigers pass rusher TJ Parker received a major draft ranking by an NFL analyst.

Clemson Tigers star TJ Parker is entering the 2026 NFL Draft as a promising pass rusher. Parker put together some solid seasons for Clemson, making him an intriguing prospect for teams.

In NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah's top 50 draft rankings, Parker was listed as the 27th-ranked prospect in the upcoming draft.

He progressed well throughout his career with the Tigers. In his freshman season in 2023, Parker finished with 32 total tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery.

Parker followed it up with a monster campaign in 2024, as he had 57 total tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, six forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.

His numbers weren't as impressive in the 2025 season, but he was still productive, finishing with 37 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, and three fumble recoveries.

Parker will likely go late in the first round or early in the second round of the draft, but with edge rusher being a premium position in the NFL, he could go earlier.

While Parker is off to the NFL Draft, the Tigers will look to rebound in the 2026 season. Despite having talent like Parker on the roster, Clemson failed to make it to the College Football Playoff or even the ACC Title Game.

That leaves head coach Dabo Swinney potentially on the hot seat if the Tigers don't improve upon their 7-6 season from 2025.

Swinney was aggressive in shaking up the coaching staff this offseason, firing Garrett Riley as their offensive coordinator and hiring Chad Morris. Morris previously served as Clemson's offensive coordinator from 2011 to 2014.

Swinney also brought in an experienced coach, Rich Bisaccia, who has spent many years in the NFL, as the new special teams coordinator.

Swinney will look for the new coaches to help change the culture back to winning ways. However, the Tigers will also need to replace talented players like Parker, Peter Woods, Avieon Terrell, Blake Miller, Antonio Williams, Cade Klubnik, and more who are off to the NFL Draft.

Swinney will rely on the transfer players he brought and the talent already on the roster to step up into bigger roles and excel.

While Swinney looks to get Clemson back on track, Parker will begin his NFL career and make his mark like he did during his three years with the Tigers.
