A Duke Blue Devils star is joining Luka Doncic and the Lakers in a recent mock draft.

Duke Blue Devils star Isaiah Evans has become a quality wing and could be a first-round pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.

In a recent mock draft by ClutchPoints, Evans lands with the Los Angeles Lakers with the 21st overall pick.

Evans could be a solid fit alongside Luka Doncic as he is a quality three-point shooter.

In 26 games this season, Evans is averaging 14.7 points per game, along with three rebounds and 1.2 assists. He is shooting 43.1 percent from the field and 36.1 percent from behind the arc on 6.9 attempts per game.

He has the ability to create his own shot, but can also be a quality catch-and-shoot player, which would fit next to a playmaker like Doncic.

Evans was more efficient in his freshman season, averaging 6.8 points and 1.1 rebounds, shooting 43.2 percent from the floor and 41.6 percent from three on 4.1 attempts per game.

The Lakers are in need of adding shooting and defense around Doncic. Evans is a solid defender, making him a potential 3&D wing for the future.

For Evans, it's hard to imagine a better landing spot than Los Angeles, as he would benefit from playing with a playmaker like Doncic and possibly LeBron James and Austin Reaves if they return.

The Blue Devils will look to finish the season strong with a core of Boozer, Evans, Patrick Ngongba II, and others.

Duke made a deep run in the NCAA Tournament last season, making it to the Final Four before suffering a disappointing loss to Houston.

The Blue Devils will be looking for revenge and to win their first title since the 2014-15 season.

Duke has been strong this season, as they are the third-ranked team in the country with a record of 24-2.

They are facing off against the No. 1 Michigan Wolverines on Saturday, which could be a potential preview of the NCAA Tournament.

A win would go a long way for the Blue Devils in building confidence for the final stretch of the season. Evans could bolster his draft stock with a strong end to his sophomore campaign.
