Duke Blue Devils star Cameron Boozer is one of the top prospects for the 2026 NBA Draft.
In CBS Sports' latest mock draft, they have Boozer landing with the Indiana Pacers with the second overall pick.
Boozer could be a great fit for the Pacers, joining Tyrese Haliburton, who is coming off a torn Achilles, and Pascal Siakam. Indiana was in the NBA Finals in 2025, but Haliburton's injury meant they were in for a bridge year.
The addition of Boozer would give them more firepower as they look to contend for a title in the 2026-27 season.
Boozer is having an incredible freshman season for Duke, averaging 23 points per game along with 10 rebounds, four assists, and 1.8 steals. He is shooting an inefficient 57.8 percent from the field and 38.3 percent from three.
Charles LeClaire-Imagn ImagesBoozer has been the leading force for the Blue Devils in their successful season thus far. Duke is 22-2 and in first place in the ACC.
They are the fourth-ranked team in the country and will be a force to be reckoned with in the NCAA Tournament behind Boozer.
Duke fell short in the Final Four in the 2025 season, losing to Houston in the final minutes of a tight game.
The Blue Devils will be looking to get revenge and win their first title since the 2014-15 season.
Capping off his college career with a title could only boost Boozer's draft stock. He is in a three-man race with Darryn Peterson and AJ Dybantsa to be the number one overall pick.
All three of them have a ton of talent and have a case to be the top selection in the NBA Draft. How strongly each player finishes the season will likely determine the order of the top three.
Boozer has clearly established himself as one of the top players in the country. He is scoring on a high volume while also being very efficient and impacting the game defensively.
His versatility and talent will be huge for the Blue Devils down the stretch as they look to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.
