This Duke Blue Devils star's NBA Draft decision should be very easy.
The Duke Blue Devils have a handful of players who could enter the NBA Draft this summer, and while Cameron Boozer is basically a guarantee to punch his ticket, others are not such a sure thing.
Patrick Ngongba and Isaiah Evans will probably head into the draft, but both players are still up in the air. Cayden Boozer is likely returning to Durham for another year, and then there is Dame Sarr.
Sarr is similar to Evans in that he is a long, rangy three-and-D wing, but he is still very raw and certainly has a whole lot to improve upon. His NBA Draft big board ranking at ESPN is concrete evidence of that.
Sarr is ranked 50th by ESPN with the draft a little over two months away, an indication that he will probably be a late second-round pick, at best.
That means the Oderzo, Italy native should probably come back to Duke for one more year to hone his skills, much like Evans did after last season.

Credit: Amber Searls-Imagn Images.Sarr averaged 6.4 points and 3.8 rebounds over 23.5 minutes per game on 40.4/32.3/53.2 shooting splits this season, so clearly, his efficiency could use some work. He is very athletic and has obvious potential, but he must refine his skills a bit more.
There is no question that the 19-year-old could be intriguing to some NBA teams because of his skillset, but would anyone take a chance on Sarr any earlier than the back end of Round 2? Probably not.
Sarr definitely has the potential to turn himself into a first-round pick heading into 2027, similar to Evans. Evans also struggled with consistency during his freshman campaign with the Blue Devils, although his perimeter shot was certainly better than Sarr's right from the get go.
Sarr is at his best out in the open floor where he can utilize his speed and athleticism. If he can translate that into the halfcourt set, there is no doubt that he could develop into a very dependable swingman on the NBA level.
Of course, whether or not Sarr ever actually realizes his ceiling remains to be seen.
