Is it crazy to say that former Duke star Cameron Boozer is going to the perfect scenario in the NBA? I have my fair share of doubts, as I believe he's in a good spot, but he isn't necessarily going to be the focal point of a Memphis Grizzlies offense that actually might be better than I think some are expecting.
Not to say the Grizzlies are going to be a perfect team and are going to win a lot of games next season, but I do have a feeling this is going to be a much more talented and better team than some are expecting.
All Boozer can do at the end of the day is try to win games at the highest level, and from everything he has said, he's not necessarily worried about getting his accolades and winning awards. At the end of the day, his job is to win games, and he's continued to say that's his biggest focus.
However, others believe that he could be the front-runner for the Rookie of the Year award because the Grizzlies as a team are not as good as I think they are. If there's one reason why that might be the case, it's simply because of Boozer not having to deal with other veteran stars who would get the basketball as much as he might.

While Boozer will face considerable competition from Dybantsa and others, he has the advantage of not fighting established stars to be the top option. Dybantsa has to take his turn alongside Young and Davis, while the Grizzlies’ rebuild has Boozer firmly established as the centerpiece,” he wrote.
I'm really curious to see what things look like in Memphis next season, even beyond the fact that Boozer could be a guy who gets a ton of touches. I have a feeling he's going to have an opportunity to be a guaranteed starter from Day 1, which might not be the case for some of those other top rookies.
However, I have my fair share of questions about whether he's actually going to be the top option on this offense, so time will tell.
