Former Duke Basketball star Jay Williams makes his prediction on where Cameron Boozer will be drafted in June's 2026 NBA Draft.

With the NBA draft lottery complete, the next steps in the offseason are the combine, workouts and then the actual draft. Right now, players are going through the combine process in Chicago, as scouts and teams are getting an up close look.

For one Duke Blue Devils player, he's projected to go top three by most. However, there is a bit of a debate between he and North Carolina's Caleb Wilson for who could go at No. 3 to the Memphis Grizzlies.

The good news for Boozer is that he's having a good combine in terms of drills and measurements. He's become a talked about prospect in Chicago and there's even a slim chance he could go two depending on the right situation.

But as the process goes on, one former Blue Devil star believes he could fall out of that top three.

Jay Williams makes prediction for Cameron Boozer in NBA Draft

While appearing on ESPN's "Get Up", college basketball analyst Jay Williams broke down his first five picks of the 2026 NBA Draft.

He has AJ Dybantsa going to the Washington Wizards while Darryn Peterson lands with the Utah Jazz. Now here is where it gets interesting.

Williams has Caleb Wilson going to the Memphis Grizzlies, leaving Cameron Boozer going to the Chicago Bulls at five.

"The Chicago Bulls. Cameron Boozer," Williams said in the segment. "You watched it over and over this season. Kind of plays like [Alperen] Sengun to a degree or a Kevin Love player. Has different angles of attack at the rim. Can initiate the offense because of his passing ability."

Williams seemed to be pretty high on all four players when speaking about them. That included Darius Acuff too who he has going No. 5 to the Los Angeles Clippers.

This is going to be a really strong draft and whoever lands Boozer is going to potentially have a franchise player on their hands. Now we just have to wait and see what team that is going to be and if any team will regret passing on him come this June's draft.
