The Duke Roundtable Podcast Previews the Blue Devils Heading to the ACC Championship for a Rematch Against Virginia in Charlotte.
Josh Graham and Will Dalton co-host the Duke Roundtable podcast, which will release new episodes every week on the site. Here's what the tandem covered on this week’s pod:
- Beating Jake Forest. Duke went up against one of the best defenses they've faced all year long in Wake Forest and won a shootout with the defense coming up with some crucial turnovers down the stretch.
- Coastal Chaos never dies. Josh and Will recap the series of events that lead to the Blue Devils finding their way into the ACC Championship game against Virginia, despite seeming like their chances were snuffed out by the Cavaliers a few weeks ago.
- Title Bound. Duke will get a second chance to face a Virginia team that completely neutralized Darian Mensah at Wallace Wade Stadium just a couple weeks ago. Duke has not won an ACC title since they shared the title, oddly enough with Virginia, back in 1989. They haven't won the title outright since 1962.
- Duking It Out Against Calipari. Duke had a Thanksgiving showdown against Arkansas in Chicago. It was a game the at one point Arkansas seemed in control of early in the second half. Duke answered down the stretch and Cam Boozer had his best game as a Blue Devil, matching his season best with 35 points, in a Blue Devil win over Coach Cal.
- ACC/SEC Challenge. Duke will host no. 15 Florida in the National Title game that could have been, last year. The ACC went 2-14 in the ACC/SEC Challenge last year with one of those two wins coming when Duke beat Bruce Pearl and Auburn at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
In addition to the Duke Roundtable Podcast, Graham and Dalton will also host weekly podcasts for other local teams in the state of North Carolina, including the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Hornets.
Both have covered Blue Devil football and basketball for years, while doing local radio for WSJS in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina.
