3 Florida Gators Named to 2027 NBA Draft Big Board

The Florida Gators are looking to contend for another National Championship after winning one just two seasons ago.

Heading into the 2026-27 season, the Gators have a ton of talent on the roster to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament. Florida fell in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament last year, which was a disappointing title defense.

Head coach Todd Golden has done a great job during his four years with the Gators, posting a 103-41 record. 

Golden has a ton of talent on the roster heading into the season, as three Gators were named to Bleacher Report's 2027 NBA Draft Big Board with Thomas Haugh, Alex Condon, and Rueben Chinyelu. 

Haugh has continued to develop during his time with the Gators. In his freshman campaign, he averaged 3.9 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, shooting 45 percent from the field and 25.5 percent from deep.

He improved in his sophomore campaign, averaging 9.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game while shooting 48.5 percent from the floor and 34 percent from distance.

Haugh played at a high level in the 2025-26 season, averaging 17.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.1 steals, and a block per game, shooting 46 percent from the field and 32.6 percent from three. He will be a pivotal piece for Florida to make a deep run.

Condon is another piece who has continued to develop and will be an important player for the Gators. He has been a contributor in each of his first three seasons with Florida. In the 2023-24 season, he averaged 7.7 points, 6.4 assists, 1.2 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game, shooting 46.2 percent from the floor and 28.9 percent from distance.

In Condon's sophomore campaign, he became a starter, averaging 10.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game while shooting 49.3 percent from the field and 32.8 percent from behind the arc.

Condon played even better in the 2025-26 season, as he averaged 15.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.4 blocks, shooting 55.6 percent from the field and 17 percent from downtown.

Chinyelu will be a key big man for Florida, as he averaged 10.9 points and 11.2 rebounds per game along with a block while shooting 58.4 percent from the floor.

With these three talented pieces in place, the Gators could make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.
