The Florida Gators don't have a whole of players who could go in the early rounds of the NFL Draft this spring, but one of them is cornerback Devin Moore.
Moore is actually one of the most intriguing prospects in this year's draft class.
The Naples, Fl. native stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 200 pounds, giving him more than elite size for the position.
And in a cornerback class that is incredibly deep, featuring big names like Avieon Terrell, Mansoor Delane and Jermod McCoy, Moore may be one of the biggest sleepers on the board this April.
Moore participated in the NFL Scouting Combine on Friday and ended up running a 4.50-second 40-yard dash, which definitely opened some eyes.
No, it isn't blazing speed. He isn't Deion Sanders, nor is he Darrell Green. But we have to keep in mind that Moore is a huge cornerback who just ran a pretty decent 40. In fact, the average 40 time for corners is generally around 4.50 seconds.
Put it this way: Moore's speed didn't hurt his draft stock. If anything, it may have helped him, because it demonstrated that he certainly isn't slow.

Right now, the former four-star recruit is generally being viewed as a late Day 2 pick or a fourth-rounder this spring, but it's entirely possible that Moore will be a late riser over these next couple of months.
In a league that is valuing good cornerbacks more and more, it would not be the least bit shocking to see a team try and reach for Moore, possibly even in Round 2.
So while Florida defensive tackle Caleb Banks grabbed attention for odd reasons on Thursday, stopping midway through his workout due to uncomfortable cleats (understandable given his situation, but still unexpected, nonetheless), Moore turned some heads in a positive way.
It will certainly be interesting to see how soon Moore flies off the board once the NFL Draft gets underway.
