Florida State Volleyball Renews Rivalry With Miami

The Florida State volleyball team (5-5) will renew their rivalry with the Miami Hurricanes to begin the ACC slate of the season on Wednesday.

The Seminoles have a strong track record when it comes to conference openers, having won 19 of their last 20 first home ACC matches. The Seminoles own a 42-26-1 advantage over the Hurricanes since the series began in 1970.

The Hurricanes started the season on a seven game losing streak but won their last two matches against LSU and Tulsa over the weekend.

Seminoles senior outside hitter Kyleene Filimaua enters the matchup ranking sixth in the ACC in both points (178.5) and kills (149).

First serve is set for 7 p.m. on the ACC Network.
