The Seattle Seahawks rose as the big winner on Sunday against the New England Patriots. But Florida State hit a rare accolade in the process too.

The tremors from the Seattle Seahawks' Super Bowl LX victory over the New England Patriots in San Francisco on Sunday reached all the way to Tallahassee.

Florida State football hit a rare milestone as the Seahawks celebrated the 29-13 romp over the AFC champs.

Before the Super Bowl kick-off, the Seminoles found their loyalties split between whether to back Pats defensive end Joshua Farmer or Seattle running back Cam Akers to win a ring. The latter has won on this stage before -- in the 2021 season while with the Los Angeles Rams

As it turned out, Akers netted his second ring, handing Florida State a new milestone: the Seminoles have produced 10 straight Super Bowl winners.

That also means 14 different Seminole greats have won on the biggest stage of the National Football League.

Who are the FSU players who are a part of this run? Here they are in order:

Offensive Guard Tre' Jackson: A four-year lineman for the Seminoles from 2011-2014, Jackson was part of the 2016 New England Patriots team that overcame a 28-3 deficit to the Atlanta Falcons and won in overtime.

2017 Philadelphia Eagles: Cornerback Patrick Robinson (2006 to 2009 at FSU), defensive tackle Timmy Jernagin (2011-2013), CB Ronald Darby (2012 to 2014) and linebacker Nigel Bradham (2008 to 2011) took part in Philly's first title winning team.

Tight end Ryan Izzo: The backup to Rob Gronkowski for the Pats' Super Bowl LIII team played at FSU from 2014 to 2017 before winning the title his rookie season.

2019 Kansas City Chiefs: This first Patrick Mahomes/Andy Reid era title featured two past Seminoles: Defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi (2014 to 2017) and Cameron Erving (offensive tackle who played in 2010 to 2014, winning the national title in the '13 season).

Longsnapper Garrison Sanborn: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers specialist won with Tom Brady in the 2020 season big game.

Running back Cam Akers and cornerback Jalen Ramsey: Akers joined the fellow FSU legend Ramsey in winning the crown over the Cincinnati Bengals. Akers was a five-star signing for the 2017 class before leaving after the 2019 season. Ramsey starred in Tallahassee from 2013 to 2015.

Edge rusher Joshua Kaindoh: While on the practice squad mostly, Kaindoh won with Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Chiefs over Philadelphia. He also was on the practice squad for the Super Bowl 58 team. Kaindoh played from 2017 to 2020 and was brief teammates with Nnadi and Akers at FSU.

Edge rusher Josh Sweat and WR Johnny Wilson: The All-Pro edge rusher Sweat and the wideout Wilson joined the list of first-time Super Bowl winners from Florida State -- spearheading the rout of Kansas City. Sweat played 2015 to 2017 for the Noles. Wilson came over as a prized transfer out of Arizona State in 2022 and played during the '23 season -- averaging 20.9 yards a catch in the latter campaign.

2025 Seattle Seahawks: Akers, again, got elevated to the active roster amid Zach Charbonnet's injury. Seattle ends up winning its second SB championship in franchise history.

Akers also joined another list involving FSU: Being a part of multiple title winners -- which features J.T. Thomas (four with the Pittsburgh Steelers), Deion Sanders (won in 1994 with the 49ers then 1995 with the Dallas Cowboys), Bryant McFadden (2005 and 2008 with the Steelers) and Nnadi (the three Chiefs titles since 2019).
