Florida State football had eight different players on the 2025 All-ACC teams announced on Tuesday. Among those selected, wide receiver Duce Robinson and offensive lineman Luke Petitbon both earned first-team honors.
It says something about both FSU's season and the somewhat chaotic state of the ACC that a 5-7 team placed eight of its 22 starters on all-conference teams. The Seminoles showed flashes of greatness all season, while ultimately being derailed by an 0-5 record on the road.
To his credit, Robinson was the top vote-getter in the entire conference after a historic 2025 campaign. The junior receiver was in the top three in the conference in yards, yards per game, yards per reception, yards per conference game, 100-yard games, and 20-, 30-, and 40-yard catches.
With 1,081 yards, Robinson became the 14th Seminole in program history to top 1,000 yards in a season. With head coach Mike Norvell returning, Robinson will have a decision to make on his future over the next couple of months: stay in Tallahassee for his senior year, or depart for the NFL.
Photo by Matt Pendleton-Imagn ImagesWe covered that decision-making process here, where Norvell made his case for Robinson to stay one more year and improve his draft stock. Pro Football Focus has Robinson listed at 180th overall on their 2026 NFL Draft Board. That’s roughly a sixth-round placement. In a draft pool stacked with talented receivers, PFF currently ranks Robinson as the 30th overall pass catcher.
In the new world of college football with NIL options and direct athlete payouts, Robinson could potentially make more money in 2026 by staying in school.
Fellow ACC first-teamer Luke Petitbon has no decision to make. The 24-year-old senior has exhausted his eligibility, and he has created a sterling reputation for himself in the process.
Despite the inconsistencies of FSU's offensive line in 2025 due to injuries, Petitbon started all 12 games and didn't give up a single sack in team-leading 795 snaps. Behind his leadership, FSU led the SEC in total offense and rushing yards per game.
Petitbon earned a job grade of 90 percent for the season, and Pro Football Focus rates him as the No. 23 overall interior offensive line prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft. That's top five among centers.
