New commit Logan Flaherty is taking the lead on the recruiting trail, leveraging personal ties and social media to lure elite blue-chip playmaker Sean Green to Tallahassee.
Florida State is experiencing a much-needed wave of recruiting momentum with official visit weekends in full swing in Tallahassee.
Securing two commits, from 3-star QB Logan Flaherty and another one from 3-star DL Eric Vaulx Jr., in the same month is exactly what jump-started this summer run for Mike Norvell and his staff.
Now, those two are helping their new school lock in as many prospects as they can by putting on the player-recruiter cap as the face of FSU’s Class of 2027.
Both Flaherty and Vaulx Jr. have openly talked about how they are dead-set on recruiting heavy hitters to join the class.
Currently, a few of the blue-chip recruits who were also on an official visit over the past weekend. Camden County wideout Sean Green is the hottest WR on the market, with SEC giants like Georgia making him an uncompromising priority on their board. Florida State has its work cut out for itself as they prepare to host the blue-chip recruit this weekend.
Logan Flaherty’s Attempts to Lock In Sean Green
While Norvell and his staffers will be pulling every trick they can up their sleeve to convince Green to bank on their program, Flaherty is using his online presence to make as many efforts as he can to do his part.
Flaherty recently posted a story on Instagram for Green, saying, “Let’s do it!!”
Flaherty has long set his sights on Green from the moment he committed to the Seminoles.
He spoke with the media last week, and he was asked which recruits he was putting his recruiting hat on for the offensive side of the football. He mentioned two recruits: four-star running back Jayden Miles and four-star wide receiver Sean Green.
The good thing for FSU is that the Kingsland, Georgia, product already wrapped up his official visit with Georgia last weekend and has yet to announce his decision. This means he’s waiting for his visit to Florida.
Rivals' Sam Spiegelman also reported that Green is leaning towards Florida State, and that his final choice will be between the Bulldogs and the Seminoles.
Having a WR l like Green to throw to sure sounds exciting for Flaherty. Plus, Norvell’s Class of 2027 has zero WR commits as of now.
Although they have six WR commits in the Class of 2027, even four-star prospects like Hollywood’s Jasopn Lopez, another one with the caliber of Sean will be an interesting addition.
