Led by All-American Duce Robinson, a towering corps of elite pass-catchers prepares to anchor Florida State’s aerial assault under the command of new quarterback Ashton Daniels.
You know have it good on offense when you have talented weapons on the perimeter and Florida State will deploy some of the best in the game in 2026.
Part of a passing offense that threw for over 3,000 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2025, these receivers, some returning starters, others incoming freshmen, will have a new quarterback in Ashton Daniels.
Here are the weapons that Daniels will have at his disposal during the upcoming season. All stand 6-foot-1 or taller, creating mismatch opportunities on contested catches.
Duce Robinson
A leader on the field and off, Duce Robinson is the team’s leading returning receiver and is among the top three receivers returning in the ACC. At 6-foot-6, Robinson led the Seminoles with 1,081 receiving yards, and he averaged 19.30 yards per catch, which ranked him No. 2 in the ACC 9 (and No. 9 nationally).
Last season, Robinson posted a season-high 173 yards and two touchdowns against East Texas A&M. As a first-team All-ACC performer last season, Robinson has been named preseason first-team All-ACC for 2026, and a preseason first-team All-American by Phil Steele.
Micahi Danzy
A vertical threat that can put pressure on opposing pass defenses, Micahi Danzy will use his elite track speed to his advantage, creating separation and making plays in space.
Last season, Danzy gained 571 receiving yards and scored three touchdowns. In addition, Danzy gained 216 yards rushing and three scores, and averaged 18 yards per carry.
Jayvan Boggs
As a freshman in 2025, Jayvan Boggs caught nine passes for 103 yards and one touchdown. Boggs will be the third receiver for the Seminoles, with more opportunities to make plays.
Devin Carter
At 6-foot-1, Devin Carter is a four-star receiver out of Georgia and a Florida State legacy, as his father, Dexter, was a Seminoles legend and All-American. Carter was a member of the ESPN 300, coming in ranked No. 136. In addition, Carter was a two-time participant in the Navy All-American Bowl.
After missing some games his senior year of high school due to injury, Carter still caught 26 passes for 431 yards and five touchdowns. Look for Carter to battle for playing time in fall camp.
It is crucial that new quarterback Daniels puts in the extra effort to build chemistry with this talented corps of pass catchers. Daniels will need improve his accuracy and cut down considerably on the interceptions.
If he can do that, and if coach Mike Norvell can get the job done as the play-caller, then Florida State could do some damage this season in the ACC.
