From Isa Torres’s errorless season to Lonni Alameda’s eighth conference title, the Seminoles dominated the 2026 honors behind historic defensive streaks and a trio of no-hitters.

Florida State softball took home four out of the five major awards Monday night and had eight players listed as All-ACC performers.

The Noles were led by All-American Isa Torres, who was named the ACC Player of the year and the ACC Defensive Player of the Year. Jazzy Francik was named the ACC Pitcher of the Year, and head coach Lonni Alameda was once again named the ACC Coach of the Year.

Torres, Francik and Jaysoni Beachum all made first team All-ACC honors. Ashtyn Danley, Shelby McKenzie and Marin Heller earned second team honors. Anna Hinde and Hayley Griggs made the third team. Heller, Hinde and Griggs were also selected to the ACC All-Freshmen Team.

Torres, a junior shortstop, had one of the most historic seasons in college softball history. Torres was twice named National Player of the Week and has been the ACC Player Of the Week on two separate occasions.

The All-American did not commit a single error during the regular season on 160 chances. Torres is on a shortlist of players who will be considered for National Player of the Year in 2026.

Francik threw three complete game no-hitters this season while maintaining a 1.75 ERA. The sophomore was named ACC Pitcher of the Week on two different occasions this season. Francik is an elite pitcher whose dominance has been a key reason for the Noles success in 2026.

Beachum has been named the No. 2 third baseman in America this year by Softball America as well as being an All-American last season. The sophomore has reached base in 45 consecutive games this season which ranks 2nd all-time at Florida State. She batted .404 this year with eight home runs and 61 RBI.

McKenzie was named National Player of the Week and ACC Player of the Week in March. McKenzie went 6-for-7 (.857) with two home runs and seven RBI to earn her Player of the Week awards. McKenzie had multiple hits in all three games against Cal during that historic weekend as well.

Danley was also named ACC Pitcher of the Week earlier this season. The superstar utility player plays outfield and first base for the Noles and batted .351 on the season.

Alameda has now won a Coach of the Year title a total of 10 times across multiple conferences, including eight as the Florida State head coach.
