With momentum surging in Tallahassee, Mike Norvell’s staff turns its focus toward elite targets Jayden Miles, Karlos May, and Sean Green to bolster the Seminoles' 2025 class.

The recruiting drought seems to be finally over in Tallahassee as FSU’s recruiting momentum gets a fresh wave of commits in QB Logan Flaherty and DL Eric Vaulx Jr.

All offseason, Mike Norvell has been waiting for this momentum to pick up, and now that they have it, the Seminoles will be firing on all cylinders and locking in as many more recruits as they can.

In a stroke of good timing, Florida State just wrapped up their recruiting weekend. Three-star DL Vaulx Jr announced his commitment right after concluding his official visit, and he was accompanied by several other prospects on campus visits, setting the stage for the staff — and their newest commits — to instantly start peer-recruiting the rest of the board.

Here are three recruits that would be the perfect targets for the Seminoles staff who have already completed or have a scheduled OV:

Jayden Miles

The blue-chip Baton Rouge product was also on an official visit this weekend. The blue-chip prospect is a hot commodity in the recruiting market with schools pulling every trick up their sleeve to lock in as many four-star talents like Miles as they can.

Miles’ popularity comes with several blue-blood programs like Ohio State and LSU also being hot on Miles’ trail. FSU getting a crack at the Baton Rouge Catholic RB with an official visit before he takes his upcoming visits to Ohio State, LSU, and Kentucky ahead of his July 4th decision date gave them exactly the type of leverage they needed.

Karlos May

Considered the No. 24 defensive lineman in his class and No. 11 prospect in Alabama, May was one of the highly touted prospects on his OV besides Miles this weekend.

The Ramsey (Ala.) four-star defensive lineman is considered a top-priority target for DL coach Terrence Knighton, who built a strong bond during a lengthy visit to FSU on April 11th.

“It was great. I enjoyed my first official visit. They kind of showed me everything. Showed me how I would be used in the program. It was good,” May said of his visit.

The FSU staff has unden  iably earned May’s trust. However, he still has blue blood like Georgia, Ohio State, and Auburn to fend off in the recruiting battle for May.

Sean Green

Georgia is FSU’s top contender in the recruiting battle for Camden County’s four-star WR Sean Green. Co-offensive coordinator Tim Harris Jr. is heavily invested in recruiting Green, and securing a commitment from him over Georgia.

Although Green has already been to an official visit to Athens this weekend, he is yet to make a decision, which is a good sign for the Seminoles. Now all they have to do is convince Green to join Norvell’s squad when he visits Tallahassee on Friday for his official visit.
