The Seminoles hosted some intriguing visitors during their final Junior Day weekend. But one is slowly surfacing on FSU's recruiting radar who's gone fairly under-recruited per reports.

Florida State football closed out January with hosting a large group of recruits.

But the visits weren't just limited to commits, blue-chip prospects or younger talent representing the 2028 and 2029 classes. FSU also hosted an "under-the-radar" tailback, as described by Noles247, who scored 20 times last season.

Here's who showed up to Tallahassee, according to Zach Blostein of 247Sports:

"Running back Gary Walker, of Creekside (Ga.), ran for 1,669 yards and 20 touchdowns in 14 games this past season, leading his team to a state championship. Florida State was one of the first Power Four programs to offer him back in October, but with only ten offers in hand and no ranking next to his name, he seems to still be flying under-the-radar some," Blostein said.

Walker is even unranked by 247Sports. Yet is very much surfacing on the radar of some Atlantic Coast Conference schools outside of FSU.

Among his current offers are Duke, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh. Even Kentucky out of the Southeastern Conference offered -- with new running backs coach Kolby Smith making his run.

But the Seminoles have two coaching beginning to prioritize the 6-foot, 200-pound running back.

"FSU, specifically running backs coach Kam Martin and head coach Mike Norvell, treated him like a top priority on Saturday at Junior Day," Blostein said.

Sounds like FSU will make an aggressive run at the big RB. But is Walker feeling like FSU is indeed highly prioritizing him?

"Walker says FSU stands 'very high' for him," Blostein adds.

There is competition, though, for this "under the radar" talent -- one of which is an ACC foe of the Seminoles.

"Penn State and Clemson are two other top contenders in his recruitment," Blostein adds.

Walker is a 2027 talent who landed an offer from FSU. He's likely to earn a set of rankings soon from 247Sports as his recruitment goes off.

If Walker indeed chooses the Noles, he becomes the first RB pledge for the '27 class. Florida State sits No. 10 nationally so far with five verbal commits -- but only one represents an offensive skills position, which is tight end Connor Winn.

Edge rusher Anthony Cavallaro is FSU's latest pledge, choosing the Seminoles on Friday. But now Walker is rising steadily in the recruiting room for Florida State.
