Florida State football hit January hard with multiple weekend Junior Days. The next major on-campus recruiting event isn't just limited to spring practice visits.
It's the month of June, which now serves as an official visit month.
Head coach Mike Norvell and his revamped coaching staff -- now featuring full-time linebackers coach Ernie Sims and promoted offensive coordinator Tim Harris Jr. -- are learning who'll visit Tallahassee during the sixth month of the year.
Here's two important talents who are visiting, starting with a past powerlifting champion.
Who's the Power Lifter Visiting Florida State?
Four-star defensive lineman Sam LeJune of Poplarville, Miss., locked in a June 12 visit according to Noles247 on Friday.
LeJune isn't just a dominating trench star for Poplarville High. Florida State will love his weight room work which includes bench and deadlift records shattered in March 2025.
Terrance Knighton is leading the charge for his Seminoles recruitment. He's sitting at 21 scholarship offers and counting.
Why his visit is important: LeJune looks like Braden Fiske reincarnated. He's equipped with near similar size at 6-foot-3, 280-pounds. But his tenacity and versatility jump out on film. His high school even allows him to align head up on the center or in a wide-9 (outside of the tackle) angle. He comes after quarterbacks in a bad mood from there.
Who's the biggest threat(s) to Florida State: In-state power conference program Mississippi State is hosting him first on June 19. But Auburn will host him first on May 29. Notre Dame and Texas A&M are two more pursuing him.
Chances he lands at FSU: High -- Zach Blostein of 247Sports says FSU is in a good spot.
Longtime FSU Commit Another June Visitor
Fellow four-star Mekhi Williams will head to Tallahassee.
Except he'll be there before LeJune -- with the weekend of June 5 as the target date.
Williams has been committed to FSU since March 2025. But others are lurking to try and flip him.
Why his visit is important: FSU can turn to the summer to really win over Williams and ensure he's a top priority for this class. He can also come in with the opportunity to cement his own name in the echelon of star-studded DBs to come out of Tallahassee -- a la Deion Sanders, Antonio Cromartie and Jalen Ramsey among others.
Who's the biggest threat(s) to FSU: Miami is the one to watch here. The rival Hurricanes will host him after the Tallahassee trip from June 19-21.
Chances he lands at FSU: Even -- the Noles must attempt to get him on campus during spring practices along with the June visit after.
