Five conference championships remain. Discover how these outcomes will reshape NCAA Tournament bids and impact the quest for top seeds.

CHICAGO — And then there was one. One last day. Welcome to Selection Sunday, the final day of conference tournaments, and in a few hours we'll know the 68-team for the 2026 NCAA Tournament.

There's still a lot to know. We have five conference champions still to crown, the Big Ten, SEC, American, Ivy and Atlantic 10. And there's still plenty of movement that can happen along those first few seed lines.

Let's take a quick look at the five conference titles still up for grabs, and how it might affect the tournament field.

Big Ten

Teams: No. 1 seed Michigan Wolverines vs. No. 7 seed Purdue Boilermakers.
Time/Place: 3:30 p.m. ET, in Chicago, Ill. TV: CBS.
Point spread: Michigan is a 6.5-point favorite; the over/under is 149.5.
The skinny: At 31-2, Michigan has done enough to earn a No. 1 seed even with a loss to Purdue. Duke and Arizona are the other No. 1s for sure now, after clinching ACC and Big 12 titles respectively. Florida got a break, losing in the SEC semifinals, but Connecticut lost, too. So that fourth No. 1 is still up for grabs, but it's safe for Michigan now. Purdue has slipped a few lines after finishing the regulard season 2-4, but now they've put themselves to get back to the 2-line with a win. I'm thinking they're a No. 3 seed at worse.

SEC

Teams: No. 4 seed Vanderbilt Commodores vs. No. 3 seed Arkansas Razorbacks
Time/Place: 1 p.m. ET, in Nashville, Tenn. TV: ESPN
Point spread: Vanderbilt is a 1.5-point favorite; the over/under is 165.5.
The skinny: This isn't the final most expected, but top seeds Florida and Alabama got knocked out. Vanderbilt hasn't won an SEC Tournament title since 2012, and it's been since 2000 for Arkansas. Both teams are safely in the NCAA Tournament, and my guess is the winner gets a No. 4, the loser a No. 5 seed. Vandy has been a great story this year, winning 16 straight to start the season and now four in a row to end it, including the rout of No. 1 seed Florida on Saturday. Arkansas coach John Calipari knows all about winning SEC titles from his time at Kentucky, and this would be really sweet, winning one at Arkansas.

American

Teams: No. 1 seed Sourth Florida Bulls vs. No. 2 seed Wichita State Shockers.
Time: 3:15 p.m. ET, in Birmingham, Ala. TV: ESPN
Point spread: South Florida is a 5.5-point favorite; the over/under is 147.5.
The skinny: South Florida is 24-8 and hasn't lost since Jan. 31, winning 10 games in a row. They're a great story, too, with first-year coach Bryan Hodgson doing a terrific job of replacing Amir Abdur-Rahim, who died suddenly last year. It would be great to see them win Sunday, because this is likely a one-bid league. Wichita State is 9-1 in its last 10, so this should be a good one.

Atlantic 10

Teams: No. 2 seed VCU Rams vs. No. 4 seed Dayton Flyers.
Time: 1 p.m. ET, in Pittsburgh, Pa. TV: CBS
Point spread: VCU is a 3.5-point favorite; the over/under is 138.5.
The skinny: Dayton upset top-seed Saint Louis is the semifinals, so someone is going to steal a bid here. VCU is 15-1 in its last 16 games, and they've got a talented team. The Rams have beaten Dayton twice this season, by 26 at home on Feb. 6, and by six at Dayton last Friday. The winner gets in, the loser won't. Saint Louis is in for sure, too.

Ivy

Teams: No. 1 seed Yale Bulldogs vs. No. 3 seed Pennsylvania Quakers.
Time: Noon ET, in Ithica, N.Y.. TV: ESPN2
Point spread: Yale is an 8.5-point favorite; the over/under is 141.5.
The skinny: Yale won the Ivy League regular season title by a game, and beat Penn twice in doing so. The Bulldogs have made five NCAA tournaments since 2016, and they've pulled off a few upsets, beating Baylor in 2016 and Auburn in 2024. Penn hasn't made the NCAA Tournament since 2018, and they haven't won a game in the NCAAs since 1994.
