Bielema Laments Huge Mistake in OSU Loss

Bret Bielema and the Illinois Fighting Illini lost 42-19 on the road to Ohio State Saturday and one error stood out above the rest. The Fighting Illini had only nine men on the field at one point which highlighted organizational dysfunction that nobody expected.

Bielema said he couldn't understand why the error happened and took responsibility for it in postgame comments.

Playing against great teams like Ohio State in a hostile environment can do that to a coaching staff and its players, but Illinois has got to be better moving forward.
