How to Watch Indiana Basketball Against Auburn Saturday

Indiana continues the 2023-24 season on Saturday against the Auburn Tigers at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Here's how to watch, game time and TV information, the point spread and over/under, the coaching matchup, series history, stats, rankings and more.

ATLANTA – After a 2-0 start to Big Ten play, Indiana reverts back to nonconference action on Saturday with a neutral site matchup against the Auburn Tigers. 

Playing at State Farm Arena in Atlanta is a homecoming of sorts for Indiana coach Mike Woodson, who was the head coach of the Atlanta Hawks from 2004-10.

On the other side, the Auburn Tigers and coach Bruce Pearl will make a short drive north after a 5-2 start to the season, most recently losing 69-64 at Appalachian State.

  • Point spread: Auburn is favored by 6.5 points, and the over/under is 149.5 points, according to the SI Sportsbook.
  • Recent results: Indiana beat Maryland 65-53 at home on Dec. 1, then won 78-75 at Michigan on Tuesday. Auburn beat Virginia Tech 74-57 at home on Nov. 29, then lost 69-64 at Appalachian State on Sunday.
  • Home, road, neutral trends: Indiana is 4-0 at home, 1-0 on the road and 2-1 at neutral sites. Auburn is 3-0 at home, 2-1 at neutral sites and 0-1 on the road. 
  • Season projections: Indiana is tied for seventh with plus-2300 odds to win the Big Ten, according to the FanDuel Sportsbook.KenPom predicts Indiana to finish 18-13 overall and 10-10 in Big Ten play, and for Auburn to go 22-9 overall and 12-6 in the SEC.
  • Last season: Indiana went 23-12 overall and 12-8 in Big Ten play. The Hoosiers earned a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament and lost to No. 5 seed Miami in the Round of 32. Auburn went 21-13 and finished seventh in the SEC with a 10-8 conference record. The Tigers earned a No. 9 seed in the NCAA Tournament and defeated Iowa 83-75, before losing to No. 1 seed Houston, 81-64, in the Round of 32.
  • Last meeting: No. 1 seed Indiana defeated No. 8 seed Auburn 107-90 in the second round of the 1987 NCAA Tournament in Indianapolis. Steve Alford led the Hoosiers with 31 points on 7-for-11 3-point shooting, followed by Darryl Thomas with 27 points and eight rebounds. Keith Smart was one rebound away from a triple-double, as he scored 20 points, 15 assists and nine rebounds. Rick Calloway added 18 points and 13 rebounds for the Hoosiers. Auburn got 54 combined points from Mike Jones and Jeff Moore, but they couldn't stop the Hoosiers, who shot 60.3% from the field. Under coach Bob Knight, Indiana would go on to win its fifth and most recent national championship.
