The Big Ten released its conference basketball schedules on Thursday. Indiana men's basketball now knows its 20-game conference slate under first-year coach Darian DeVries and its entirely new cast of scholarship players.

Indiana's Big Ten season begins at Minnesota on Dec. 3. It will then host Penn State on Dec. 9 before returning to nonconference play. Big Ten competition will resume on Jan. 4 for the Hoosiers at Washington.

The Hoosiers will face Marquette at the United Center in Chicago (Nov. 9), host Kansas State (Nov. 25, play Louisville at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis (Dec. 6) and play at Kentucky (Dec. 13) in their notable nonconference games.

The Big Ten also announced Thursday that the men's Big Ten Tournament is expanding to include all 18 teams in 2026. In 2024-25, the first year with 18 teams in the Big Ten, the tournament included just 15 of the 18 teams. Indiana finished ninth and made the Big Ten Tournament, but now every team is guaranteed a shot in the tournament at the United Center in Chicago from March 11-15.

Indiana's regular season starts on Nov. 5 when it hosts Alabama A&M. Indiana plays two exhibition games against Marian (Oct. 17) and Baylor (Oct. 26 in Indianapolis).
