The betting lines for the Big Ten Championship Game are out and the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes are favored, as they have been in all 12 games this season. Here's the latest on the point spread, with a full list of how both teams have fared vs. the numbers all season. Solid knowledge.

It doesn't get any better than getting a matchup of college football's last two unbeaten teams when No. 1 Ohio State and No. 2 Indiana meet in the Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. It's an epic showdown, and certainly the most important football game in Indiana history.

    At least for this week.

The Buckeyes, who went 12-0 this season and 9-0 in the Big Ten, are a 5.5-point favorite on the opening line released by the gambling website Fanduel.com. The Hoosiers, who also went 12-0 and 9-0 in league play, have only been an underdog once all season, and that's when they won at Oregon on Oct. 11. The over/under total is 48.5.

The Buckeyes were better against the spread. They were favored in all 12 games and covered in 10 of them. They failed to cover by a half-point against Ohio, so some bettors might have had a better number and covered anyway, They also didn't cover at Purdue.

The two teams did not play this season, but did meet in an epic top-five showdown on Nov. 23, 2024 in Columbus. Ohio State won 38-15.
