The Rutgers Scarlet Knights traveled to Bloomington for their second matchup against the Indiana Hoosiers on Tuesday. It was a nail-biter, but Indiana's defense held Rutgers at bay to claim a 66-60.
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Rutgers has been a thorn in Indiana's side for a while now. Trayce Jackson-Davis went into tonight's game with an 0-6 record against Rutgers, but that all changed when the Hoosiers took care of business on their home court, 66-60.
Jackson-Davis' night was particularly sweet. He racked up 20 points, 18 rebounds and six assists. He became the first player in program history to achieve 2,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds. Miller Kopp also had a standout night with 18 points and two assists.
