I want to personally welcome you to Iowa State Roundtable, Roundtable Sports Network’s new site dedicated to in-depth Iowa State Cyclones game coverage, analysis, and so much more!
If you're wondering what Roundtable is, you're not alone. I didn’t know much about Roundtable until a month or so before I started working at the company, but that’s because we’re a new (established in September 2025) global sports network dedicated to producing top, fan first coverage of teams along with an online community for fans to chat with our writers and with one another.
Our network has sites covering everything from the NFL and college athletics all the way down to rodeo. When the company made the decision to add an Iowa site in January, that’s where I came in.
ABOUT ME
Hello, everyone! My name is Brad Schultz, and I’m the publisher of HawkeyeRoundtable. You’ve probably recognized me for some of my “controversial” opinions that I’ve posted about Iowa State athletics on my social media pages, but that’s just what makes the Cy-Hawk rivalry fun. I grew up right in the heart of the Cy-Hawk rivalry in Indianola, so I know a thing or two about what this rivalry means to the amazing people of the great state of Iowa.
I’ve had a ton of fun growing an amazing community on the Iowa site over the last eight months, but a few months in, I realized that this company needed to expand to the other side of the state. Why? Because Cyclone fans deserve amazing coverage, too, and we’re going to give it to you. I’m thrilled that we are finally able to make our vision come to life ahead of a brand-new era of Iowa State football and right in the middle of a historical run from TJ Otzelberger and the men’s basketball program.
So what is an Iowa reporter doing covering Iowa State you may ask? That’s a fair question, but you won’t have to worry about reading articles with my name attached to the top of them here. We’re going to bring in some talented writers that will not only know the Cyclones inside and out, but will also be able to connect with you guys on a daily basis.

Each day, you'll see a community post from one of our writers (usually a tweet or message about something Cyclone related) that you can comment on and discuss the latest Iowa State happenings.
