The Hawkeyes have outscored the Badgers 155-26 over the course of their five-game winning streak in this series.
Iowa football cruised to a 30-0 shutout win over Wisconsin at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Here are some of the top numbers that stood out courtesy of Iowa's game notes:
2: Iowa now boasts two wins over ranked opponents this year (Michigan, Wisconsin) the first time that has happened since 2021.
Cornerback Jacob Wallace recorded his second career interception in the fourth quarter, a ball that he tipped in the air before regaining control.
3: The Hawkeyes have now pitched two consecutive shutouts against Wisconsin - good for a combined score of 67-0. This was Iowa's third shutout of the season and 21st of the Kirk Ferentz era.
5: Saturday's victory marked Iowa's fifth straight win over Wisconsin. Not only is that the Hawkeyes' longest winning streak over the Badgers in the Kirk Ferentz era, it's the longest winning streak by any Iowa team in this series since 1996, when the Hawkeyes were wrapping up their 10th straight win over Wisconsin. Iowa has out-scored Wisconsin by a combined score of 155-26 over this five-game winning streak.
The number five is also significant because Zach Lutmer's forced fumble in the second half was the first of his career and fifth turnover forced (four interceptions, one fumble).
14: Iowa is now bowl eligible for the 14th consecutive season (2013-present) and 24th time in the last 26 seasons.
20: Wide receiver Tony Diaz had a bounce-back game through the air (four catches for 75 yards and a touchdown), but his 20-yard carry that nearly resulted in a second score happened to be the longest of his career.
54: Kicker Caden Buhr's 54-yard field goal in the second half was the longest of his career.
190: After facing a week filled with criticism, quarterback Hank Brown stepped up in a big way in this one. The fourth-year completed 20 of 24 passing attempts for 222 yards and two touchdowns, but most of his work was done in the first half. Brown tossed 190 passing yards in the first half, which was the most by an Iowa quarterback since Nate Stanley had 212 in the first half against Illinois on Senior Day 2019.
21-3: The Hawkeyes are now 21-3 since 2023 when reaching the 21-point mark first. That was achieved midway through the third quarter when DJ Vonnahme recorded the first rushing touchdown of his career.
51: Wisconsin tallied just 52 yards in this game, which is the fewest rushing yards the Hawkeyes have allowed to the Badgers since the 2022 victory at Kinnick Stadium (51).
261: Wisconsin's offense has notoriously struggled against Iowa in recent years, and this statistic proves it. The Badgers have tallied 261 or fewer yards in each of their last three losses to the Hawkeyes.
