The Hawkeyes' 41 points were the most they've scored in a Big Ten game since 2024.

Blowout victories usually result in a lot of positive numbers on the statistic sheet.

They don't always happen around Iowa football very often, but Friday was one of those special nights. The No. 20 Hawkeyes came to Seattle, Washington with plenty of question marks after a disappointing loss to Ohio State last weekend, but it's safe to say they were extinguished against the Washington Huskies.

Iowa dominated from start to finish to secure a 41-24 triumph - its first in the Pacific Time Zone since 1965 (a 27-7 victory over Oregon State).

We've already named three standout players, so now it's time to play the numbers game.

Here are some of the top numbers that stood out from the Hawkeyes' win

3: Backup quarterback Jeremy Hecklinski was tremendous in this one, completing 14 of 19 passes (73%) for 202 yards and three touchdowns. The three touchdown passes were the most in a game by any Iowa quarterback this year, and Hecklinski is the fourth Hawkeye signal-caller to tally three scores in a first career start. Jon Beutjer (2000), Ricky Stanzi (2008) and Nate Stanley (2017) are the others.

4: Iowa's win marks its fourth straight on a Friday - 2024 Nebraska, 2025 Rutgers, and 2025 Nebraska - and 14th in the last 16 games overall. It's also the first time the Hawkeyes have won a regular season game west of Nebraska since 1987, when they beat Arizona by a point.

5: Kirk Ferentz's teams are always some of the most resilient groups you'll see in the country, and this statistic backs it up. Friday's triumph in Seattle marks the fifth straight year the Hawkeyes have followed their first loss of the season with a win. The last time that didn't happen was in 2021, when Iowa was blown out by Wisconsin.

6: Iowa's six sacks tied a season-high, with linebackers Cam Buffington and Preston Ries both leading the way with two.

8-1: Playing backup quarterbacks usually doesn't bode well for a football team, but not for Ferentz at Iowa. The Hawkeyes are now 8-1 when they've had to use a backup quarterback in his first career start. Hecklinski joins Jason Manson (2006), Jake Christensen (2008), C.J. Beathard (2014), Alex Padilla (2021), Joey Labas (2022), Deacon Hill (2023), and Jackson Stratton (2024).

9: Iowa is really banged up at safety right now, but Robert Morris transfer Xavier Styles stepped up on Friday, tallying a team-high nine tackles in the victory.

41: The Hawkeyes have scored the ball well this year, and Friday marked the first time in 15 seasons that Iowa has scored 40 or more points three times in its first six games of the season. The 41 points are also the most in a Big Ten game since 2024 against Wisconsin (a 42-10 win).

69: Wide receiver Reece Vander Zee posted a new career-high of 69 receiving yards in this one. He now has three touchdowns on the season, which matches the career-best he set in 2024.

208: Running back Kamari Moulton had a monster game, collecting 208 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries. He is the first Hawkeye to record a 200-yard game since Kaleb Johnson had 206 at Minnesota in 2024. Iowa has now rushed for 200+ yards in 16 games under offensive coordinator Tim Lester, compiling a 15-1 mark in those contests.
