The Hawkeyes are seeking a fourth consecutive Big Ten series win.
Iowa softball's season ended last weekend, but head coach Rick Heller and the Iowa baseball team still have two weeks to go.
The Hawkeyes are in a good position to make the Big Ten Tournament in Omaha, but still need to avoid a dreaded late-season swoon to do so.
The first step to closing the regular season strong takes Iowa out west to rival Nebraska for a three-game set. The Cornhuskers have been one of the best teams in the Big Ten this season, but the scrappy Hawkeyes hope to put a dent in their rival's NCAA tournament resume while boosting their own postseason hopes.
