Iowa women's basketball hosted its second of three open practices with the media on Tuesday morning. 

Here are some of the best quotes we heard from the media session. 

Assistant coach LaSondra Barrett on how five-star guard McKenna Woliczko has handled high expectations so far: 

"She's going to come in with so much hype and come in as a McDonald's All-American, as a five-star, but I think right now her teammates don't take it too serious, and I think she doesn't either, which is a very good approach, and right now we just keep it light with her. It's not a lot of pressure, and let her play, because her natural ability will help us." 

Barrett on Georgia transfer Jocelyn Faison's potential: 

"Just having someone to believe in her. She didn't get a lot of playing time at Georgia, and I think for her, she's so humble, she doesn't take it a whole lot of her mistakes too serious, and Coach J [Jan Jensen] really believed in her, and that's one thing, getting her, she just wanted to play with teammates and coaching staff that believed in her, so once she gets that confidence, she can be really, really special for us too." 

Georgia transfer Jocelyn Faison on why Iowa was a good fit for her: 

"I feel like Iowa's a good fit for me, because you have a coach who just truly pours into you, builds your confidence, and just wants the best for you. And I feel like you have teammates around who are willing to work hard, and I'm a hard worker myself. So, being around those people just pushed you to be better." 

How the five-year eligibility rule could impact recruiting (Barrett is the recruiting coordinator): 

"[There's] just difficult conversations you have to have. I think with us potentially bringing our entire roster back, that could change just where high school players see themselves. I think some high school players can be impactful and some may still be developmental. And we're in a world now where everybody wants to play, everybody wants that, and with the five for five, I mean, technically, the 27 class, and even 28 is going to affect them heavily." 

Chit-Chat Wright on her growth as a leader: 

"I've just been talking more, so I don't know, I just had this different mentality of like, if I know what it takes to get to that point, and I just really want my teammates to be successful, and this program to be successful, so I'm just going to do whatever it takes to get to that point." 

Journey Houston on moving from the four to the three: 

"It's fun for me because I kind of get to go back to what I used to do prior, and I just have to keep putting in a lot of work, which is what I like to do."
