Former Iowa football offensive lineman Alaric Jackson was arrested on Monday evening, per a report from ESPN on Tuesday.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Jackson was charged due to "willfully inflicting corporal injury against a spouse."
He was booked into jail at 4:24 a.m. on Tuesday morning and released on $50,000 bail later that morning, according to the article.
Jackson, who signed a three-year $57 million extension with the Rams in February 2025, was a regular starter for the Hawkeyes during his tenure, earning first-team All-Big Ten honors after helping Iowa close the 2020 campaign on a six-game winning streak.
