Good afternoon, Hawkeye Nation!
I just wanted to come on here and thank everyone for the support you've shown over these last few months. Launching a new website on a new sports network is not an easy thing to do, but you've made the transition very easy!
This site is very much yours as it is mine, so I'm always going to be transparent with you guys and give updates on here as much as possible. Our total page views in March completely blow the number we earned in January and February combined, and that's all because of you guys. Keep reading the site!
Content won't stop
I didn't expect to be covering the second weekend of the NCAA tournament this season, but this is March after all, so I should've expected the unexpected. Ben McCollum and Iowa men's basketball went on a program-altering run to the Elite Eight, and it's safe to say that they made a lot of you guys proud.
Basketball season may be over, but the madness is just beginning. The transfer portal opens on April 7, so we'll have plenty of men's and women's basketball articles and conversation to come.
Spring football is also here. The Hawkeyes will host weekly media availability with select players leading up to their open spring practice on April 25. There's a lot of intriguing storylines on the gridiron, and we'll have you covered there.
Though it may not feel like it, baseball and softball season is here. Both Iowa teams have played games since early February and rank near the middle of the pack in the Big Ten standings. Our primary focus will be on Iowa football and basketball, but there will also be plenty of content coming from the diamond.
